This fountain I got to see 'coz I paid for a walking tour around Rome. Our guide said that it was his favourite fountain. That alone prompted me to get a photo with it. There is a lot of messagery on the sculputres of this fountain. For starters there are four teenagers standing in dolphins, helping turtles into the basin of the fountain. This is a message to teenagers. Dolphins are know for being fast animals, and turtles, are the opposite, quite slow. It is saying to its audience to have a balanced life, to slow down and to speed, depending on the circumstances :)
