Real Player required

News video, only visible using Real Player on IE (sorry). Shows parts the latest news on the Levon Jone's case with snippets of the video I took while on holidays.

Slowly, with more witnesses comming forward, with the efforts of Levon's friends, family and attournies, with the video that shows the mishandling of the event by bouncers and police, the news reveal more accurate details of what happened that shocking night. Now, the bouncers have been arrested and they await trial. I feel sorry for them too, I am sure that they did not intend to kill him, however their mistake and the police neglect led to Levon's death. For more on news on what happened that night visit Nola.

Atlanta and I! I loved the city, the public transport is great here. The hostel where I stayed at was friendly enought, granted, it used to be a brothel ;) Posted by Hello

Your unfriendly patrol man in beatiful Atlanta. This guy didn't stop for no one. He was asked by some locals how the thing worked and he simply brushed them saying "Gyroscopes!". There's a man going through a post-middle-life-crisis! Posted by Hello

One of the many things that locals engaged in, during the carving of Stone Mountain, was passive protests agains the opposition in WWII. Here we have the leaders of Germany, Japan and Italy being driven off the face of the mountain. Posted by Hello

A monument that conmemorates the heroes of the civil war from the Confederate side...what the? You see this gigantic statue in the hinterlands of Atlanta Georgia. Posted by Hello

One of my favouirte exhibits at the Memphis Police Museum was the photos of K9's who made the ultimate sacrifice. We can see some of them here :( Posted by Hello

Reminds me of my days at university...

Where I took a class called "Drug Use and Abuse". Don't get any funny ideas.

Three TVs, yellow walls, mirrored ceiling? Was all this necessary in the 70's? Anyway the king had pour taste, but we still love his music. Posted by Hello

Graceland home of the King at Memphis, Tennessee. I saw the tackiest rooms and 70's decorative style. The disappointment of seeing this attraction is not as great as that of travelling with Amtrak, the interstate rail. Posted by Hello

One of the many professional perverts, trying to catch the flashers on Camera at Bourbon Str, New Orleans. Posted by Hello

This pyramid is found in one of the many cemeteries of New Orleans. Not a bad way to spend the after life ;) Posted by Hello

Enchanted spiritual candels from the many occult shops in New Orleans' French Quarter. Posted by Hello

On this picture we can see three bouncers restraining an individual agains the brick floor. A cop is standing by them. The force used to restrain him was such that the individual sofocated to death... I caught the whole thing on camera and I gave copies of the footage to the family and friends. They in turn gave the footage to the media and I have been to and fro with CNN granting them permission to use my footage. You can read about the incident at Tourist Tape Shows Bourbon Street Scuffle Posted by Hello

Hanna and her favourite reality TV personality. Don't ask me who he is, I have no idea. I just took the photo. Posted by Hello

One of the many plantations that surround New Orleans. Here was where they filmed scenes of "An Interview with a Vampire". Please ignore the bad hairday and the cheeky smile. Posted by Hello

Whilemina, a waitress with lots of attitude and little patience for polite Latin-Australians. Posted by Hello

The French Quarter. It reminded me of my home country, with its Spanish architecture... only they do a better job at keeping the paint on the wall and the rubbish of the streets ;) Posted by Hello

The water lids were designed with smarts and taste. However they are so popular that people steel them. I would have done so, however this was firmly affixed to the ground. Posted by Hello

One of the most impressive beam bridges in Jacksonville. When a boat approaches the lift the middle section with chains and hoists. It is the wet dream of every engineer... Posted by Hello

One of the 48 sea cows the litter the streets of Jacksonville. Appart from bridges there is not much else to see here. The ride to downtown is painted with scenes from the third world and people you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley. Posted by Hello

A great salesman came to Savannah and sold the locals what he called earthquake bolts. He claimed that the bolts stopped walls from falling. Savannah does not suffer from earthquakes and the bolts don't work. However, this young man made a fortune. Here we have the Earthquake Bolts. Maybe we con work something out in good old Brisbane ;) Posted by Hello
